...or at least start to date one.

funny, I've dated every race but Greek.

Where do you find a beautiful Greek girl both inside and out with a dirty mind but without a Moustache (kidding)?

there's this one who's into me but she's a stripper ...so she's out of the question.

i have been with my boyfriend for almost 9 years now and my papu still asks if i have met any good, rich greek men....even though he likes judd(non-greek) and asks why we aren't married yet...my mom was the only one of her generation of our family to marry another greek...and she got the holy grail a man actually from greece! i tease...because all of the non-greek family members have been assimilated...resistance is futile...again i tease:)

Are there any good, rich Greek men? ; )

When I went to Greece I went out one night only to be followed back to my hotel room by this Greek fellow trying to get invited up. He asked me what nationality I was and where I was from. He guessed English (UK), Australian and Canadian before he guessed American. He got all excited when he found out I was American... I don't know why (do we have an international reputation as people who invite strangers up to our hotel rooms?). Are there no "good, rich Greek men" out there because they are looking for "good, American/non-Greek girls"? I wonder....

BTW, I loved going to see "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". I loved it even more when people asked me if my Yia Yia used to spit on me for good luck. I tell them I never understood what my Yia Yia was saying because in addition to a heavy Greek accent (I'm second generation!), she was a heavy smoker. I do remember her giving me things to ward off the "evil eye" though..

I have not been to Greece in over 20 years ...
I've been single for over 8 years ...

I never really looked for a rich man or for a Greek man. A man's income has never been important to me (for any reason). Funny, but it seems that income $$$ is quite a factor/issue for choosing a mate within the Greek culture (pressure from parents - ie., "ke ti thoulia kani?") ~ how pathetic !

I have never really had an interest in Greek men because (from experience) the majority are generally extremely macho and ridiculously spoiled and catered to by their mum's (even in today's new generations) also very sad for the future.

I do agree they are good-looking ... but that's way too easy (birth genes)... in fact, ANY attractive man from ANY origin/background/culture ...
what does that bring long term ? ... great sex ?!?!??? so what ... once that fades or gets boring you're screwed :) Even if you make a conscious effort to keep your sex-life interesting, you're stuck with someone you have nothing in common with, who's got an inflated ego (in most cases) on top of it ...

as far as physical attraction, I really feel that it comes from the inside out, that no one is perfect and that certain flaws can be accepted if you truly love the person they are ...

personally, I prefer to stay single, do what makes me smile most in life, and hope that I meet someone along that same road/path with similar interests, goals, compatibility ... building a longer lasting, solid friendship that may grow into more :)

                  amen ~
